Fonte finally signs on the dotted line

Crystal Palace have completed the protracted signing of Portuguese defender Jose Fonte.
The 24-year spent last season on loan at the south London club but has now made his stay a permanent one, signing a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.
Fonte scored once in 26 appearances last season and becomes Neil Warnock’s seventh summer signing following Paddy McCarthy, Nick Carle, Johnny Ertl, Darryl Flahavan, Calvin Andrew and Simon Thomas in moving to Selhurst Park.
