Elisabeth Turner, 70, who moved to Croydon six years ago from Devon.
She said: "I moved for family reasons. I do miss Devon tremendously but the there are lots of things I like about Croydon. The library is great and I use it quite a lot. The facilities and amenities are also really good - everything's on your doorstep. Where I used to live in Devon you had to drive for miles to get anywhere.
“I really believe there should be special buses laid on for schoolchildren. I know a lot of older people don’t like to use buses when the children are on them.”

"I think the street cleaning needs to be better - I can't stand seeing cigarette butts on the ground. And while the bus services for older people are fantastic, I do not use buses between 3pm and 5pm as the behaviour of schoolchildren is absolutely appalling. It's really quite intimidating and I feel very sorry for the drivers.
