CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
SUFFOLK ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate deliveries of electrical equipment to a sub station in Suffolk Road they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Suffolk Road, South Norwood.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) no person shall proceed in Suffolk Road between its junction with St. Dunstan's Road and the south-western boundary of No.15 Suffolk Road;
(b) the one-way working in St. Dunstan's Road will be suspended.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route:
(a) for northbound traffic will be via St. Dunstan's Road, High Street, South Norwood and South Norwood Hill;
(b) for southbound traffic will be via South Norwood Hill, High Street, South Norwood and St. Dunstan's Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 1 September 2008 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 days commencing on 1 September 2008. However, the Order will remain in force
for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
